We decided to make a big deal about the first father's day and the first mother's day and after this it'll be all down hill :). Anyhow, Ryan is a tropical nut (just ask about our banana plant and other tropicals out back) so I dressed the girls up in cute little dresses with hibiscus flowers on them. They looked like they could've been Hawaiian tour guides (see pics below). We then hit the zoo in the morning before it got too hot and crowded. The girls didn't care about the animals (which we expected) but Ryan and I had a good time just strolling around the Columbus zoo. We had some relaxing downtime in the afternoon while the girls were napping and then a pizza picnic in the park with live music. Ryan is a great Dad to the girls and I hope he felt loved and appreciated by all of us. Oh, and Lydia developed her skill to say 'da, da, da' just in time for father's day (grace is an old pro at it).

I totally forgot to ask about father's day! The girls looked especially cute in their Hawaiian apparel. Glad you had a fun day Ryan. It was fun video chatting with you guys the other day.
